Care Instructions

Which detergent?

For all Medima products, it is best to use a wool detergent or detergent for silk and fine fabrics. These do not contain any bleaching agents and are therefore particularly gentle on the delicate natural fibers.

Gentle washing

Our entire range is machine washable (with a few exceptions). Please observe the washing temperature indicated on the washing labels. Washing too hot will damage the delicate natural fibers and the fit.

Do not put in the dryer.

Please do not put our laundry and segments in the dryer! This would felt the angora wool/wool and the items would shrink. It is best to dry your Medima items horizontally to preserve the fit. After drying, pull into shape if necessary.

Airing instead of washing

The unique hollow fibres of angora hair transport moisture such as perspiration to the outside, where it can evaporate on the surface. In many cases, airing the garment in between washes is enough to make it fresh and ready to wear again. Less washing protects the high-quality fibers and you can enjoy our Medima products for years to come.

Avoid matted fibers

To avoid matting of natural fibers, please make sure you use a suitable detergent. For angora, wool, cashmere and silk, always use a wool or appropriate mild detergent. Incorrect care can mat natural fibers, making them dull and stubborn to the touch.
